Director of Patient Financial Services
Seeking a Director with financial services operational expertise to provide leadership and oversight to the Patient Financial Services department.
The Director is responsible for day-to-day management of all hospital revenue cycle functions.
He or she will establish policies and procedures to ensure accurate claims submission to Medicare, Medicaid and all other third party payers; additionally the Director will oversee the department budget, manage staff, and promote sound cash management principles within the department.
He/she will stay abreast of changes to industry regulatory requirements and will ensure timely staff education of such changes.
As a direct report to the CFO, the Director will inform and advise on issues affecting compliance, reimbursement and any changes to policies or procedures required.
Job Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Management or Healthcare Administration Minimum five years' hospital accounts receivable experience Minimum three years' patient financial services management experience In depth knowledge of CMS regulations and HIPAA requirements Knowledge of electronic billing Would you like to apply to this job?.
