Computer Programmer/Systems Analyst

The Computer Programmer/Systems Analyst will be responsible for custom software application development and testing. Duties will include:
Work to understand the needs of the user audience, designing and developing applications that improve functionality and streamline agency operation.
Collaborate with IT to enhance systems automation through scripting and custom utilities.
Researching and keeping abreast of emerging technologies in order to be able to deliver the most up-to-date solutions.
Learn new programming languages and/or technologies in order to be able to deliver the most up-to-date solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
AA Degree in related field or comparable years experience in programming and application development.
At least two (2) years of prior software development experience and object oriented design and analysis using C# and .Net.
Working understanding of relational databases.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing applications in a team environment.
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio IDE.
Experience with role based security models and active directory integration.
Experience integrating cross-platform or cross-language environments.
N-tier application development experience.
Understand the nature of poverty and be able to maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees, program recipients and the general public.
Microsoft SQL Server experience preferred.
Networking/LANs, TCP/IP protocol
Have a customer oriented attitude
Enjoy maintaining/enhancing code to meet changing customer/industry needs
Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure and to contribute to multiple projects/demands simultaneously.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
